Gavin Spake
Co-Owner
Gavin is a North Carolina native who grew up in Lexington, where he spent much of his time at the pool or on the lake—sparking a lifelong passion for the water. A highly accomplished swimmer, Gavin is a six-time NCHSAA State Champion and a three-time conference champion at UNC Wilmington. With over 16 years of experience as a USA Swimming coach and more than 20 years of teaching swim lessons, Gavin brings a deep knowledge of technique, safety, and athlete development to Brunswick Swim School. He is also the head coach of the BAC Gators, the only year-round competitive swim team in Brunswick County. When he’s not on the pool deck, Gavin enjoys spending time on his boat with his dogs, Bear and Texas Pete, making the most of the coastal lifestyle he now calls home.
