Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 6/16/2026

 

At Brunswick Swim School, we strive to provide high-quality swim instruction while
maintaining a fair schedule for all families. By booking lessons, you agree to the following
refund and cancellation policy.

 

Lesson Package Purchases

​

All lesson packages must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
Refunds Before Lessons Begin

  •  Customers may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase if no lessons have been

scheduled or completed.

  •  Once lessons have been scheduled, a processing fee of $25 may be deducted from any

approved refund.
 

Refunds After Lessons Begin

 

  •  Refunds are not provided for completed lessons.

  •  Any approved refund will be prorated based on unused lessons remaining in the package.

  •  Brunswick Swim School reserves the right to deduct any discounts applied to package

pricing when calculating refunds.

 

Customer Cancellations

 

More Than 24 Hours Notice
If a lesson is canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time:

  •  The lesson may be rescheduled at no additional charge, subject to instructor availability.

 

Less Than 24 Hours Notice
If a lesson is canceled with less than 24 hours notice:

  •  Brunswick Swim School will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a makeup

lesson or reschedule; however, rescheduling cannot be guaranteed and is subject to
instructor availability and scheduling constraints.

  •  If a makeup lesson cannot be arranged, the lesson will be considered used and will not be

eligible for a refund.

 

No-Shows

 

If a student fails to attend a scheduled lesson without notice:

  •  The lesson will be forfeited.

  •  No refund, credit, or makeup lesson will be provided.

 

Weather Policy

 

For outdoor lessons, Brunswick Swim School reserves the right to cancel lessons due to:

  •  Lightning

  •  Thunderstorms

  •  Unsafe weather conditions

  •  Poor water conditions

When Brunswick Swim School cancels a lesson due to weather:

  •  The lesson will be rescheduled at no charge.

  •  No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations unless rescheduling is not

possible.

 

Instructor Cancellations

 

If Brunswick Swim School must cancel a lesson due to instructor illness, emergency, or
scheduling conflicts:

  •  The lesson will be rescheduled at no charge.

  •  If rescheduling is not possible, a credit or refund for the affected lesson(s) may be issued.

 

Medical Emergencies

 

Brunswick Swim School may consider exceptions to this policy for documented medical
emergencies or serious family emergencies at its sole discretion.

 

Expiration of Lesson Packages

  •  Lesson packages must be used within 2 months of purchase.

  •  Unused lessons remaining after the expiration date are forfeited and are not eligible for

refunds.

 

Satisfaction Policy

 

If you are dissatisfied with your experience, please contact us within 7 days of your lesson. We
value customer feedback and will work to address concerns whenever possible.
